Mucho Peru

Modern Take on Peruvian Cuisine

Mucho Peru’s journey began in Lima, Peru, where they operated a successful bakery business. In 2016, they relocated to the United States, bringing with them a passion for Peruvian cuisine and a dream to share it with a new audience.

After gaining valuable experience working in various restaurants around the Main Line, founders Brizna y Aldo faced unexpected job losses. This challenge became the catalyst for pursuing their long-held aspiration of starting their own business.

In August 2024, Brizna y Aldo began hosting pop-up events at multiple breweries across Center City, Fishtown, and the Main Line, receiving enthusiastic responses from both venues and patrons. Their setup featured a tent with tables, allowing them to prepare food to order on-site.

By November 2024, Brizna y Aldo were honored to participate in a month-long residency program at Triple Bottom Brewery, running from November 6th to December 1st. This opportunity provided them with a platform to showcase their culinary offerings to a broader audience.

As Mucho Peru continues to grow, their vision is to establish a strong presence in the Philadelphia culinary scene, elevating the recognition of Peruvian cuisine, which we believe is among the world's finest. Their ultimate goal is to open a brick-and-mortar location, providing a permanent home for Mucho Peru. To achieve this, they plan to acquire a food truck, enabling them to operate year-round and reach a wider audience, even during the colder seasons when our current setup faces limitations. This step will allow them to continue sharing the vibrant flavors of Peru with their community, bringing them closer to realizing their dream.
