Monika's European Kitchen is an Eastern European style bakery specializing in artisan sourdough breads, unique pastries and savory cooked specialties. Originally from Budapest Hungary, Monika came to the US with $100 in her pocket and a dream. Together with her husband Chad, this team makes delectable treats and savory eats for individuals or large gatherings. 

Homemade sweetened farmers cheese stuffed flake pastries, chocolate swirls, super delicious babkas are just a few of the sweet treats you can find at their market stands throughout New Jersey.

Tapping into her own family heritage or preparing recipes from hubby's family cookbook (thanks Mema!) full of recipes from Eastern Europe, you can find traditional Hungarian stews, Romanian and Polish veggie spreads and more from the catering menu. 

Whether you are new to Eastern European cuisine or looking for a taste that brings you back to your childhood with Grandma and Grandpa, you are sure to find something savory or sweet to keep you coming back for more!
