Lui’s Kitchen food cart began in 2022 by two brothers with the goal of combining Philly classics with a Southern twist. The Dowgiewicz brothers, Kyle and Kris grew up in the food industry and have a passion for serving others. Their menu is inspired by Philly foods cooked with traditional Southern ingredients such as pimento peppers, cajun spices, and the classic collards. While their name is inspired by Kris’s daughter, “Lui.”
Lui’s prides themselves on the ability to level up the Philly cheesesteak with their house-made pimento cheese; a staple of their food cart. In addition to the Pimento Cheesesteak, Lui’s offers great pairing sides such as tots, collard greens, mac & cheese, and an ever-changing rotation of special sandwiches and sides.
Currently, Lui’s sets up shop at local breweries around Philly and is available for large scale events.
